What started as a simple bonus room is now the heart of this home—a fully customized cinematic escape packed with personality and performance.
This project pulled out all the stops. From the ground up, we transformed the space with custom carpentry: striking architectural beams, bespoke cabinetry, upgraded flooring, and detailed trim work that gives the room a bold, theater-worthy presence.
At the core of the experience is a powerful 5.1 surround sound system, engineered for precision and clarity. Paired with a Kaleidescape movie server, this theater delivers studio-quality playback that turns every movie night into a premiere event.
Of course, it’s not just about sight and sound—it’s about the full experience. We installed luxury theater seating, a dedicated snack and bar area, a classic popcorn machine, and integrated LED accent lighting to set the mood just right. Every detail was thought through—from tech to trim—to bring this dream theater to life.

What began as a simple bonus room became a passion project for this couple—a cinematic sanctuary built on collaboration, creativity, and a shared love of great movies. From the first design renders (that friends mistook for real photos) to the final reveal, the process was seamless. Our clients were hands-on, inspired, and—by their own admission—blown away. And while they joke that they’d tell others not to call CO-DA so they can keep the coolest room for themselves, we’ll take that as the ultimate compliment.
