STUCK AT HOME?
If someone would’ve told me that in March of 2020, all restaurants, bars, retails stores, and schools would be closed, I would’ve laughed in their face and called them crazy.
Yet, here we are.
The harsh reality is that millions of Americans have been laid off and forced to separate themselves from family and loved ones. Sporting events and social gatherings have been cancelled, and the glue holding this country together is a documentary/ murder mystery about a tiger breeder named Joe Exotic.
COVID-19 and has completely reshaped life as we know it. Many homes have been transformed into offices and classrooms, workout facilities, and daycare centers. Though some of us may be settling into this “new normal”, it goes without saying that this new way of living and thinking has been accompanied by several, unanticipated challenges and frustrations.
I imagine that for many of you, your Wi-Fit home network has suddenly become the source of many headaches. Whether it’s an awkward, meme-worthy frozen image of your face on a video-conference call, or your kid’s 74th viewing of “Trolls World Tour” stopping to buffer just when you thought you had a minute to relax, the issues are a direct result of an overloaded Wi-FI network. Simply put, the box that the cable put in was not designed to handle the whole family at home, working, studying, streaming, and conferencing at all hours of the day, and it just needs a little TLC.
